Goldenrod Tincture

Our Goldenrod Tincture is handcrafted with fresh Goldenrod wild-harvested at its peak (late Summer/early Autumn) from the pasturelands here on Farm. It is set to tincture immediately upon harvest, in connection with lunar cycles, to honor this sacred plant ally.

Goldenrod is one of the most unassuming, yet most beneficial "weeds." Often associated, or misidentified, with ragweed; but Goldenrod is in fact, a highly effective remedy for seasonal allergies (ragweed in particular). We call on Goldenrod, and use it in abundance to treat our family & community, for its willingness to:

-soothe symptoms of seasonal allergies & hay fever (relieving runny nose/watery eyes & sneezing)
-act as a potent anti-viral
-prevent and treat symptoms of common cold, the flu, pneumonia (an effective expectorant, clearing mucous, and soothing sore throats)
-relieve fever (mechanism of action being its diaphoretic properties ie inducing sweat during febrile incidents)
