Green Healers’ Salve

Our Green Healers’ Salve honors those first, and often overlooked, green healing plants of Spring!

The plants given to us for the days of late Spring & Summer, when bugs, heat, burns, injury, inflammation, and more, have a tendency to plague the skin. The cooling, emollient action of the plants used to craft this miraculous salve, offer much needed relief!

Made with fresh comfrey leaves, fresh wild nettles (stinging, wood, & henbit), fresh chickweed, fresh cleavers, and fresh plantain, these are all the reasons we reach for this salve here on Farm:

This salve is made in very small batches, using the folk/traditional warm oil infusion method for extracting fresh plant material.

MADE WITH: garden-fresh comfrey (Symphytum officinale) leaves, fresh wild stinging, wood, & henbit nettles (Urtica dioica, Laportea canadensis, & Lamium amplexicaule), fresh wild-harvested chickweed (Stellaria media), fresh wild-harvested cleavers (Galium aparine), fresh wild-harvested plantain (Plantago major); organic olive oil; raw, organic beeswax

*The comfrey is grown in our medicine garden and the remaining plants, we wild-harvested among the low-lying, silvopasture areas here on Farm.
