Japanese Knotweed Root Tincture | Polygonum cuspidatum

$14.00 - $47.00 Sold out

*Will be restocked Winter 2025*

Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) is highly revered for its most notable willingness to reduce chronic, systemic inflammation. However, that is not all!

Study of Polygonum cuspidatum reveals it's beneficial actions to include, yet are not limited to:
-antibacterial, antiviral, & antifungal
-anti-inflammatory
-anticancer
-antioxidant
-cardioprotective
-hepatoprotective

Knotweed is used widely throughout the global as a nutritive food source; and its extract is used, medicinally, due to the abundant amount of the antioxidant resveratrol contained in it's roots (we'd encourage you to research the astounding benefits of resveratrol through the National Library of Medicine database). Likewise, the presence of emodin (an anthraquinone) has been reported to prevent/block the binding of spike protein to ACE-2 cellular receptors and to reduce the systemic inflammation caused by a multitude of viruses (see: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9115582/).

We believe the extract of Japanese Knotweed to indeed qualify as one of the most essential Tinctures for Our Times!
