Our delicious Shagbark Bark Hickory Syrup is handcrafted slowly, with great care, and attention. The crafting begins by collecting only the outer bark (so as to protect the tree from harm that may occur by over harvesting, exposing the cambium of the tree).

Shagbark Bark Hickory Syrup tastes of heavenly spiced caramel and vanilla, with a hint of sweet, toasted hickory. If one could bottle a day spent walking in a beautiful Autumn forest, it would this syrup.

And lest we not mention the bark’s nutritional & medicinal benefits! Shagbark Hickory Bark contains one of the highest plant sources of magnesium available in the Natural World! It’s also well known for its use in relieving symptoms of arthritis.
